Consistent Pace Maintains Strong Position Throughout Race Erin Moyer demonstrated exceptional consistency in her half marathon performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Finishing with an elapsed time of 1:09:34, Erin maintained an impressive average pace of 5:18 per mile over the 13.1-mile distance. Throughout the race, she consistently held 2nd place in the female category. Her splits varied minimally, with the fastest mile at 4:44 and most miles clocking between 5:00 and 5:16, a testament to her steady pacing abilities. In particular, Erin's ability to maintain her pace in the latter part of the race was impressive. Despite a slight pace drop at mile 11, clocking in at 6:05, she regained her rhythm quickly, finishing strong with a final mile of 5:18. Her overall results placed her 8th out of 1772 participants and secured her 2nd in her division. Focusing slightly more on pacing consistency through mile 11 could further enhance performance in future races.
