Consistent Pace Elevates Performance Alex Castro displayed a strong and steady performance throughout the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Completing the distance in 3:14:12, Alex maintained an average pace of 7:24 min/mile. Noteworthy moments include miles 6 and 16, where Alex achieved his fastest splits, both clocking in at 6:54 min/mile. This consistency aided in securing 21st place in the M30-34 division out of a large field of 1879 participants. Alex's positioning improved significantly in the latter half of the race. Initially positioned at 194th overall, Alex advanced to 130th by the end. An area to refine is managing pace with more consistency across all miles; some fluctuations were noted, such as a slower mile at 7:46 min/mile during mile 11.
