Consistent Split Improvements Make a Mark Brian Moreno Lopez delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon in the 7.02 Mile race. Starting strong, he significantly improved his pace from 12:00 minutes per mile in the first mile to a compelling 10:42 minutes per mile by the seventh mile. This culminated in an overall elapsed time of 1:19:01 and an average pace of 11:15 minutes per mile. His placement in the M25-29 division improved to 49th compared to earlier in the race. Placing 537th overall and 282nd among male competitors out of 1,365 participants, Brian showcased his steady improvement over the course of the race. With a final split time consistently declining from start to finish, he demonstrated potential for more competitive performances. It would be beneficial for Brian to work on maintaining the later splits quick paces throughout the entire race. Representing "The Piston Pushers," his performance lent strong evidence of his developing race strategy.
