Steady Improvements in Half Marathon Performance Kimberly Del Hoyo demonstrated significant improvement in her half marathon performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. She completed the 13.1-mile race in 2:13:30, achieving a pace of 10:11 min/mile. Notably, she climbed to 882nd place overall, 346th in her gender category, and 69th in her division (F25-29) out of 1772 participants. Compared to her previous race in 2024, where she completed the same distance in 2:50:06, this marks an advancement of over 36 minutes. Highlights of her performance included a consistent start with several miles clocking in at an 8:19 min/mile pace. Although there was some gradual slowing in the latter half, this effort reflects strategic pacing adaptations compared to her last race. Continual focus on maintaining a consistent pace, especially in the later miles, may further enhance her performance. Overall, Kimberlys progress indicates marked growth and determination, benefiting both her personal achievements and her team, GRACE Run Club.
