Consistent Performance with Room for Strategic Pacing Haylee maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon, completing the race in 1:46:31. Starting at a 7:37 min/mile for her first mile placed her at 351st overall, but by mile 3, she surged forward, improving her place to 267 overall with a split pace of 7:12 min/mile. Throughout the middle miles, her pacing remained consistent, with a slight slowdown in mile 5 at 8:13 min/mile. Her strongest mile, pace-wise, was mile 3. During the final miles, her pace averaged 8:07 min/mile, enabling her to finish 13th in the F25-29 division and 62nd among females out of 1772 participants. Her performance in the second half could benefit from strategic pacing adjustments to maintain her earlier momentum. Race experience from last year's full marathon shows notable progress in both pace and strategic placement within her division, marking a commendable improvement in her racing strategy.
