Strong Mid-Race Gains in Las Vegas Marathon Eden Capsouto delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon 7.02 Mile race with an overall time of 1:18:33 and an average pace of 11:11 min/mile. Notably, Capsouto made significant strides during the middle of the race, as her third and fourth mile splits were impressive, with paces of 10:13 and 10:00 min/mile, respectively. Her position improved consistently through the race, starting at 838th place overall and advancing to 526th by the finish, resulting in a remarkable 312 places gained. Capsouto demonstrated a strategically strong finish, maintaining a consistent pace in the later stages. The sixth and seventh mile splits recorded times of 9:40 and 9:48 min/mile, respectively, showing a commendable ability to sustain energy and speed towards the end. Capsouto finished 19th in her age division (F45-49) out of 66, showing great improvement from her previous half marathon in 2024. Maintaining consistency in early pace could achieve even better results in future races.
