Consistent Splits with Strategic Pace Recovery Alex Schroer completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half with an official time of 2:48:38, maintaining an average pace of 12:52 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, the pacing strategy varied throughout the race, with a strong start characterized by a 10:07 min/mile split for the first mile. This was followed by variations in pace, including a slower 15:09 min/mile at mile 3, suggesting a potential regrouping strategy. Throughout the latter part of the race, Alex showed consistency, with multiple splits near the 12-minute mark. The fastest split during this phase was recorded in mile 8 with a pace of 11:40 min/mile. Improved pacing in miles 6 and 8 indicates a strong recovery from earlier miles.
