Consistent Pace With Late Challenges Crissy Matthews completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon with determination, finishing in 4:14:57 at a consistent average pace of 9:43 min/mile. Her pacing started steady with an initial mile at 9:34 min/mile and showed improvement through mile 4 with splits consistently below 9:00 min/mile from mile 2 through 6, peaking with an impressive mile 2 at 8:20 min/mile. Maintaining a place in the top third of her division, Crissy hovered around the 30th to 40th position throughout her age group. The latter part of the race presented some challenges in maintaining pace. By mile 17, a noticeable increase in split time to 11:52 suggested fatigue before stabilizing back towards a sub-10:00 min/mile pace until the final few miles.
