Consistent Start with a Challenging Finish Dennis Nguyen completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon in 3:35:05 with an average pace of 8:12 min/mile. Starting strong, Dennis covered the first half with splits consistently under the average pace, notably hitting a 7:42 min/mile at the 9th and 10th miles. His overall placements saw progression from 413th initially, moving up to 296th by mile 24, before finishing 317th overall. While Dennis maintained a solid start, the final quarter proved more challenging, with slower splits starting from mile 21, including a 9:29 split on mile 23 and an 11:05 split on mile 24. Improvement in pacing through later stages may help maintain early advantages. Compared to his previous effort in the 2024 race, which he completed faster at 3:26:46 (7:53 min/mile pace), there's room to strategize on stamina for the latter portion of the race.
