Steady Mid-Race Tempo with Later Challenges Matthew Martinez, representing the Midtown Run Club, completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon with a total time of 5:21:10, maintaining an average pace of 12:15 min/mile. Early in the race, He showed strong pacing with a notable improvement during mile 6, achieving a 9:27 min/mile pace, favorably affecting his overall positioning. Throughout the first half of the marathon, his consistency was highlighted by a range of strong splits from 9:35 to 11:12 min/milean indication of a solid start with some fluctuating tempos, especially in the middle sections. However, as the race progressed past mile 17, Matthew faced challenges, with split paces gradually slowing to a peak of 17:05 min/mile in mile 24. This later stage shift suggests an area to focus on for future endurance enhancement.
