Strong Finish with Decisive Pace Improvements Caleb Walker showcased a consistent effort with an impressive ability to make significant gains after a steady start in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon's half marathon. An initial mile split of 7:57 placed him at 52nd in the M25-29 division, at 8:57, his slowest split came in mile 5. However, Caleb found his strongest rhythm in the later stages, clocking sub-8:00 splits in four of his last five miles, including a best split pace of 7:47 in mile 10. By the end, Caleb secured an overall pace of 8:12 per mile and finished 46th in his division. His strategic finish resulted in substantial improvements in standings, moving from 64th midway to finishing 46th. Although there was a slight slowdown during miles 11 and 12, Caleb regained focus in the last stretch. Continuing to build on pacing consistency could further bolster his finishing times in future events. Great work representing Team EPS!
