Consistent Performance Despite Minor Splits Variation Angela Chesnut completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon with a commendable elapsed time of 1:36:44, averaging a pace of 7:23 min/mile. Her performance secured her 2nd place in the F40-44 age division and 16th place in the female gender category. Angela maintained a consistent performance throughout the race, with her fastest split being 6:25 in the first mile and her slowest at 8:57 in mile 11. Notably, Angela managed to maintain a strong pace across the majority of the race, only experiencing slight dips around the middle stages. These dips, particularly between miles 5 and 11, showed increased split times, reaching a maximum 8:57 pace. To enhance future performances, it may be beneficial for Angela to focus on strategies for maintaining even pacing throughout longer distances and potentially working on endurance training to reduce slower mile variations. Her ability to recover and finish strong in the final miles is promising.
