Significant Improvement and Division Success in 2025 Las Vegas Half Marathon Derek Kagen showed remarkable performance during the 2025 Las Vegas Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile race in 1:27:32 with an average pace of 6:40 min/mile. Derek's strategic pacing is noteworthy, particularly the consistency maintained from miles 6 to 10, with split paces mostly around the 6:30 min/mile range. From the start, he gradually improved his position, moving from 76th to finish 36th overall out of 1,772 participants, achieving 3rd in the M19-24 division.
