Consistent Start with Variable Splits Over Distance Klara Hernandez completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon, achieving a final time of 3:38:36 with a pace of 16:41 min/mile. Her initial mile was her best with a split time of 11:20, a smooth 11:20 min/mile pace that set the tone for the race. Although her pace decreased over the course, a strong mid-course recovery occurred at the 6th mile when she improved her placing from 1615 to 1329 overall, and from 808 to 659 in her gender category. Klaras finish position was 1615 out of 1772 participants, ranking 39th in the F50-54 division. Monitoring her pace, it was observed to vary alongside changing rankings during the event. A steep drop in pace to 20:19 min/mile at the 12th mile marked her slowest point, offering a focus area for future races. A positive takeaway is her solid status within her running team, "We Run This Family (Barely)."
