Steady Start with Opportunities for Pacing Adjustment Lacee displayed an impressive start at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon half marathon segment, reaching a pace of 6:58 min/mile for the first mile, significantly boosting her rank to 170th overall and 30th among females. A subsequent fluctuation in pacing was noted, particularly with the fastest split of the race at mile three (6:34 min/mile), indicating strategic potential for maintaining ideal pace longer. Her effort placed her 6th in the F35-39 division early in the race. Consistency was a challenge as the race progressed, as reflected in the latter half of the race where pace increased up to 10:02 min/mile by mile 11. Maintaining a more even pace could improve endurance in the latter stages. Improved endurance strategy could enhance her standing in future races.
