Steady Performance with Consistent Progress Scott Akins delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon's Half Marathon event, obtaining a final time of 2:11:03 with an overall pace of 10:00 min/mile. He started strong with a 8:57 min/mile split for the first mile, but experienced a slowdown in the second mile, reaching a 12:36 min/mile pace. His resilience showed as he made a recovery and maintained a more consistent pace for the remainder of the race, hovering mostly between 9:39 and 10:21 min/mile. Throughout the race, Scott demonstrated an ability to manage pace effectively overall, moving from 754th place initially and finishing at a commendable 825th place out of 1772 participants.
