Significant Pace Improvement and Strong Finish Kelly Pavalko delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon with a final time of 1:20:32 over a 7.02-mile course, substantially enhancing her pace from last year's event. Compared to her 2024 pace of 15:42 min/mile, Kelly accelerated to an 11:28 min/mile this year, showcasing a remarkable improvement. Notably, her placement advanced significantly, securing 585th place overall out of 1365 participants and earning a strong 4th place in her F65-69 division. Throughout the race, Kelly demonstrated consistent gains. Her initial mile was completed in 12:52, yet by mile 6 and 7, she was consistently paced under 11 minutes per mile. This upward trend in her pacing is commendable, particularly peaking with a swift 9:55 in the final split. To continue enhancing her performance, focusing on even pacing could further optimize her race results.
