Improvement Noted with Strong Finish Joseph Mercen displayed a dynamic performance in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. His overall time was 1:40:36 with an average pace of 7:40 min/mile over 13.1 miles. He began with a slower first mile at a 7:35 pace but gained momentum in the later stages, noted particularly in mile 12 with an impressive split of 6:20 min/mile. His performance showed impressive consistency, especially in the latter half of the race. Despite some mid-race variability, he managed to finish in 165th place overall and 26th in his division, M25-29. Theres room for refining pacing consistency in the early miles to avoid the notable drop in pace between miles 1 and 2. Working on a steady pacing strategy for these sections could enhance his overall standing in future races. Solid team support was evident, as demonstrated by his affiliation with "Viva Las Vagus."
