Strong Finish and Improved Split Times Elizabeth participated in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon with a total elapsed time of 1:17:03 over a distance of 7.02 miles, achieving an overall pace of 10:58 min/mile. She finished 27th in her division (F40-44), out of 1365 runners overall. Her strategic pacing improvements are noteworthy, evident from a progressive improvement in splits from a 14:13 min/mile pace in the second mile to an impressive 9:44 min/mile in the final mile. The mid-race split at mile 4 where she clocked 9:48 min/mile positioned her well, enhancing her overall placement to 453rd. Her consistency in the last three miles, maintaining a pace around 10:11 min/mile, solidified her division placement improvement. As a member of The VFit team, Elizabeth demonstrated strength, particularly in closing the race effectively. For future races, focusing on sustaining mid-race paces might yield even greater results.
