Steady Determination Powers through Las Vegas Half Marathon Kevin Lee, representing Social Hour Run Club, delivered a determined performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon event. Starting strong with a 8:59-minute-mile pace, Kevin maintained a consistent effort throughout the race. Noteworthy is his sixth mile, clocking in at 8:47, which marked his fastest pace segment. Despite some variability, his pacing stayed largely steady, averaging around 9:20 to 10:08-minute mile for the bulk of the race. His final time was 2:12:45, securing him the 862nd position overall out of 1772 participants. Given his stable pacing, Kevin could find improvement by focusing on his race-wrapping techniques. The opportunity lies in closing out the later miles with greater strength, as he experienced slower splits in miles 11 and 12. A focus on maintaining a uniform pace throughout the entire course could reduce his overall time. Kevins performance was a solid representation of his race strategy and stamina.
