Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Robert Gartner demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Starting with an initial pace of 10:32 min/mile, he strategically increased his speed, achieving his fastest split at mile 16 with a time of 7:43 min/mile. This strategic pacing helped him maintain an average pace of 8:51 min/mile, finishing the marathon in 3:52:06. Over the course of the race, Robert improved his overall position from 1107th to finishing 506th out of 1879 participants. One notable aspect of Robert's performance was his ability to improve positioning as the race progressed, moving up significantly in both overall and division standings. Beginning at 142nd in his M30-34 division, he climbed to finish 66th. Maintaining consistent negative splits during the first half of the marathon suggests effective pacing strategy.
