Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Paula Gehring displayed remarkable consistency in her 7.02-mile race at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Paula maintained a steady pace, ultimately finishing with an overall elapsed time of 1:52:39, averaging a pace of 16:02 min/mile. Her performance shows a strong incremental improvement throughout the race. Beginning with a 17:07 min/mile in the first mile, she significantly improved as her pace quickened to 14:26 min/mile in mile three a testament to her ability to adapt and conserve energy effectively. Despite a slight drop back to a 16:08 min/mile pace in the sixth mile, Paula finished strong, recovering some lost ground with a 15:31 min/mile pace in the final stretch. She claimed 36th in her F55-59 division. Though small fluctuations in pace were noted, stabilizing race pace earlier could help accelerate improvement. Nonetheless, Paula made notable progress, particularly impressive given her age category. Keep up the great work, and aim for even more consistency in future races.
