Consistent Effort Despite Challenges Jackie maintained a strong and consistent pace during the initial stages of the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Her early splits show impressive consistency with paces between 10:50 and 10:54 min/mile for the first four miles. Notably, she improved her speed significantly with a 9:43 min/mile at the 6th mile and continued to maintain sub-10:00 min/mile paces until mile 10. Positioning also saw positive movement, particularly moving from 1393rd to 1307th place overall by mile 10. In the latter part of the race, her pace adjusted to the demands of the marathon. Splits from miles 18 to 23 saw an increase, with peaking splits reaching 19:01 min/mile. Despite the slowed pace, Jackie finished strong with a slightly faster split of 11:22 min/mile for the final mile. Persistence was key, and while maintaining an 11:12 min/mile overall pace, she crossed the finish line at 5:27:45. Consider focusing on building endurance to sustain the initially strong pacing through the entirety of the marathon.
