Pacing Consistency Shines in Marathon Effort Alejandra Rodriguez completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon in 6:33:53, maintaining an average pace of 15:02 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, her early splits remained relatively steady, with the fastest segment recorded at mile 8 with a pace of 11:46 min/mile. Alejandra's overall placement was 1688th out of 1879 participants and 609th in the female category, with a division placement of 106th in F25-29. Throughout the marathon, Alejandra showed consistent pacing with slight variations under fatigue which is common over long distances. A noticeable deceleration occurred between miles 15 to 21, with the slowest mile being 21 at a pace of 20:27 min/mile. While the latter miles showed an increasing pace as the race progressed, maintaining those earlier splits throughout could be an area to focus on in future training. Participating with Tough Luck Athletics, she demonstrated perseverance and commitment to finishing strong.
