Steady Start but Endurance Challenges Christopher Fink's marathon performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon demonstrates a strong start and steady pace over the initial portion of the race. He clocked an overall time of 4:12:17, averaging a consistent pace of 9:37 min/mile. Notably, his fastest mile splits were recorded between miles 3 and 12, ranging between 8:00 and 8:49 min/mile, showcasing excellent early race execution and pacing. Progressing from 930th overall at the 1-mile mark, he improved his ranking to 546th by the 12-mile point. Despite a promising start, the latter miles presented challenges. Miles 19 through 26 showed a decline in pace, dipping to 12:24 min/mile during the 19th mile. While the later pace adjustments affected his final standing, Christopher placed 762nd overall out of 1,879 participants, and 85th in his age division.
