Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Crystal maintained an impressive consistency throughout the 7.02-mile race, finishing with an overall time of 2:08:25 and an average pace of 18:17 min/mile. Her performance showed a remarkable ability to control her pace, with minimal fluctuation between splits. Notably, she achieved her fastest mile during the 4th mile with a split time of 17:25. This strategic improvement led her to secure 994th place overall in that segment, which was her best positioning during the race. Although Crystal's position seesawed across splits, she significantly improved her standing in the 4th mile, moving up both in her age and gender categories. In the final mile, she demonstrated endurance and determination by completing it in 17:03, her fastest pace of the race. For future races, focusing on maintaining the pacing achieved in the latter miles might be beneficial for overall improvement.
