Improved Pace and Strong Finish in Second Half-Marathon Gabriela Rubio showcased notable progress in her running endurance during the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course with a time of 2:09:04, significantly bettering her previous half-marathon by over 13 minutes. Her consistently strong pace was evident, averaging 9:51 min/mile, compared to last year's 10:50 min/mile. Notably, Gabriela executed a strong finish, improving her overall pacing in the latter miles with her best split time of 8:53 during mile 3. Her well-paced strategy allowed her to achieve 281st in her gender category and 24th in her F19-24 division, showing advancement from last years 440th and 33rd placements, respectively. Gabriela displayed steady improvement as she gained ground particularly in miles 5 and 6, climbing to 307th in gender and 27th in division, a testament to her focused training regimen. Maintaining consistent splits in future races can further enhance her performance.
