Consistent Pace with Notable Improvement Over Last Year Joshua Mallari participated in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile distance with an impressive elapsed time of 3:34:10. Joshua's overall pace was 8:10 min/mile, which shows an impressive improvement compared to last year's marathon pace of 8:32 min/mile. His consistent pace was evident through the initial half of the race, displaying a steady performance with split times hovering around the 7:30-7:40 min/mile mark for the majority of the first 16 miles. Despite a gradual increase in split times after the 16-mile mark, which ranged from 8:00 to 10:19 min/mile, Joshua managed to maintain a strong position by the end of the race, finishing 308th overall out of 1,879 participants and climbing to 38th place in the M25-29 division. Maintaining consistent pace improvements seen in the first half across the full distance could be an excellent aspect to focus on further refining performance in upcoming races.
