Consistent Pacing with Potential for Refinement Catalina Araneda completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon in a total time of 3:34:29 with an average pace of 16:22 min/mile. Her splits initially showcased a stable performance with her strongest mile at 13:06. However, as the race progressed, her pace showed a gradual decline, with the 13th mile clocking in at 20:25. Notably, Catalina gained positions during the 6th mile, reaching 103rd in her division, but experienced fluctuations in her ranking afterward. In comparison to her previous race at the 2024 Las Vegas Marathon 7.02 Mile, where she had an average pace of 16:04 min/mile, there is an opportunity to re-evaluate pacing strategies. Despite moving from a shorter to a longer race, maintaining consistent pacing throughout can enhance overall performance.
