Consistent Early Progression with Challenging Finish Reiner jan maintained a steady pace during the initial miles of the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. His first mile clocked at 8:45, with subsequent improvements in split times at miles 2 (7:55) and 5 (7:53). Favorable pacing in the early portion showed strategic pacing, as the overall pace stayed consistently around 8:15-8:20 min/mile through mile 14. He held a relative position within his division, fluctuating between the 60-70 range during this period. In the latter part of the race, Reiner faced a gradual slowdown. From mile 18 onwards, splits became notably slower, peaking at 13:41 for mile 24. While his overall pace ended at 9:28 min/mile, positioning in the division dropped to 90th. Focus on endurance training in future races might enhance consistent pacing through the final miles. Overall, finishing a marathon is an admirable feat, and continuous effort will lead to further improvement.
