Steady Improvement in Pace and Performance Celia Caballero showcased consistent pacing in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon's Half Marathon event. Her total elapsed time was 1:42:18, averaging a pace of 7:48 min/mile over 13.1 miles. Notably, she maintained a position within the F35-39 division, finishing strong at 6th place. Her initial mile split of 7:06 set a solid pace, and she demonstrated excellent stamina, maintaining below 8-minute mile splits until the 5th mile. Celia's strategic pacing in the latter half of the race was commendable, with her best split times at mile six and ninea sign of her improved endurance and pace management. Comparing her performance with her previous 7.02-mile race at the 2024 Las Vegas Marathon where she clocked an 8:23 min/mile pace, she has clearly reduced her pace significantly. Focusing on maintaining mid-race pace could result in even stronger finishes in future events. Great effort and a solid performance!
