Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Jose Saucedo maintained a commendable pace throughout the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. Starting with a 9:05 min/mile in the first mile, he gradually increased his pace, reaching his fastest at mile 16 with a split pace of 7:15 min/mile. This strategic pacing allowed Jose to achieve an overall elapsed time of 3:49:16 with an average pace of 8:45 min/mile. He ranked 465th overall out of 1,879 participants, 355th among males, and 60th in the M25-29 division. Notably, after a slower segment between miles 5 and 6, Jose adjusted well and improved upon his pace. The consecutive fast splits between miles 14 and 20 helped regain positions, leading to an impressive finish. Considering the slower splits in the latter stages, focusing on maintaining his momentum could further enhance future performances. Nonetheless, Jose's determination and strategy within his team, IYDID, are evident and promising for his future races.
