Strong Start, Tough Finish Oskar Perchez demonstrated a strong initial performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. The first half of the race saw him improve his pace significantly, starting at 9:03 min/mile and hitting a remarkable 7:38 min/mile by mile 8. At this point, he was performing at an average pace of approximately 8:25 min/mile, which showed great promise. In the latter stages, Oskar faced a noticeable slowdown. The second half of the marathon saw a transition to a more conservative pace, averaging around 12:55 min/mile towards the final miles. Despite this gradual decline, he managed to complete the marathon in 5:43:31. With consistent pacing during the initial miles, further focus on maintaining that average pace could improve overall performance. As a member of the "Battery Powered" team, continuing to refine endurance strategies could be beneficial in future events.
