Consistent Improvement Under Pressure Christian Hernandez showcased a well-paced marathon performance during the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon, finishing in 3:40:31. His average pace was 8:25 min/mile, placing him 370th overall out of 1,879 participants. Impressively, his consistent advancement in pace saw a significant improvement from the first mile at a 9:46 min/mile pace to maintaining sub-8:20 min/mile paces during later miles. Throughout the race, Christian's determination was apparent, as he made strategic gains, particularly from mile 3 onwards where he placed 682nd at that checkpoint and steadily improved to a commendable 361st by the last recorded mile. This ability to maintain and improve pacing indicates a strong foundation. To optimize future race performances, focusing on maintaining pace consistency in the later miles, particularly Mile 24 and beyond, could help reduce overall time further. Overall, an admirable performance from a dedicated member of the SUB/URBAN RUN CLUB.
