Consistent yet Gradual Deceleration Billei McCarthy completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon with determination, finishing the 13.1-mile course in 2:58:32. Her average pace was 13:37 min/mile. Starting strong, her first-mile split was an impressive 9:48 min/mile. Although her pace gradually slowed, she maintained consistency. Notably, her pace only slightly decreased from 12:10 min/mile at mile 8 to 13:25 min/mile by mile 12. Throughout the race, she showed resilience as her positions fluctuated. She started at 1016th place overall and finished at 1465th. Within her female 19-24 division, Billei positioned 41st after the first mile but ended at 58th. Reviewing the split times, it's apparent that miles 4 and 5 were challenging, where times increased significantly. While she maintained her spot in the gender category overall, focusing on accelerating in later stages could enhance her future performances. Billei represented "We Run This Family (Barely)" team with consistent effort.
