Consistent Early Paces and Late Race Challenges Cassandra started the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon strong, with her first mile split at 9:29 min/mile. As the race progressed, her pace improved significantly, reaching a peak at 8:25 min/mile between miles 7 and 9. Her mid-race performance was steady, as she maintained a pace within the 8:30-8:44 min/mile range for a considerable portion of the marathon, reflecting focused endurance. In the latter stages, Cassandra faced challenges as her pace slowed to 9:07-12:33 min/mile from miles 21 to 24. Despite these hurdles, she completed the marathon in 4:07:57, maintaining an overall pace of 9:27 min/mile. Notably, her standing shows remarkable mid-race performance, moving from 709th overall to 506th at mile 12. To enhance race longevity, consider balancing speed and endurance in training, focusing on sustaining pace in the final miles. Excellent effort and determination were displayed.
