Consistent Pace with Strong Middle Splits Clinton Anderson demonstrated a steady performance during the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon. With an overall race time of 6:07:58 and an average pace of 14:02 min/mile, Clinton maintained consistency across the 26.2-mile distance. Notably, Clinton's most rapid splits were observed between miles 7 and 8, clocking in at 11:03 and 10:46 min/mile, respectively. These strong middle splits highlight Clinton's ability to find and push through a rhythm mid-race, which is an excellent strategy for pacing in a marathon. Towards the final third of the race, the pace naturally eased, with the last mile recorded at 20:06 min/mile. It's constructive to focus on sustaining some of that earlier mid-race speed into the later stages to finish strong. Placing 89th in the M45-49 division out of a competitive field of 1879 overall participants displays a commendable effort. For future races, continuing to balance pacing could yield even greater results.
