Steady Progress with Consistent Pacing Jami Heaps demonstrated a consistent performance throughout the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon. Starting with an 11:52 min/mile pace at the first mile, Jami maintained a steady pace, achieving an average pace of 12:49 min/mile by the end of the race. Her pacing not only displayed consistency but also allowed for a strong finish, with the best split time of 12:23 recorded at mile 10. Noteworthy is the pacing between miles 6 to 10, where Jami's pace closely hovered in the range of 12:37 to 12:46 min/mile. In terms of placement, Jami finished 652nd of 1772 in the female category and secured 61st place in the F45-49 division. The split at mile 5 shows room for small improvement, as it was the slowest at 13:41, but Jami quickly recovered in subsequent miles. Continuing to focus on strong finishes can further enhance performance. Excellent display of determination!
