Consistent Pace and Solid Finish in the Half Marathon Perla Orozco maintained a fairly steady pace throughout the 13.1-mile course, with an overall elapsed time of 2:48:06, yielding an average pace of 12:49 min/mile. Her splits show a notable consistency, particularly in the latter miles where she hovered around a pace of 12:30-12:40 min/mile. She started the race with a strong mile at 11:56 min/mile, setting a solid foundation for the remainder of the run. Her most challenging split appeared to be mile 12, where she clocked in at 14:30 min/mile, the slowest portion of her race. An improvement in the last mile brought her pace back to 12:32 min/mile. Her efforts placed her 151st in her F30-34 division and 653rd in gender. Considering the competitive field of 1,772 participants, Perla's performance demonstrates her ability to maintain pace.
