Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Nick Svirbely, competing in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon's Half Marathon, performed consistently across his splits. Notable was Nick's strong start and finish. His fastest split was mile 1, completed in 7:05 minutes. Nick demonstrated efficient pacing, maintaining an average pace of 7:45 min/mile to complete the 13.1-mile course in a final time of 1:41:37. One positive observation is Nick's ability to sustain a steady pace throughout the race, which helped him achieve an overall place of 181 out of 1772 participants. In the M30-34 division, he placed 32nd. Despite slight pacing dips in miles 5 and 11, Nick demonstrated resilience and improvement, particularly in the final mile, finishing with a split pace of 7:32 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining energy through mid-race splits could enhance overall race strategy for future events. Great job representing the Turtle Runners!
