Consistent Performance with Few Opportunities for Optimization Sam Bun completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon with an official time of 1:39:13, achieving an average pace of 7:34 min/mile. Despite some variability in pace throughout the race, his performance was marked by consistency, particularly in the first half. The strongest mile was the first, clocked at 6:56 min/mile, placing Sam 162nd overall at that point. He maintained a steady pace between miles 3 and 7, averaging between 7:00 and 7:21 min/mile. In the latter stages, from miles 11 to 13, the pace slightly declined to between 8:10 and 7:41 min/mile. Sam finished 151st overall out of 1772 participants, representing a strong performance for the team "Social Hour Run Club," placing 14th in his age division (M40-44). Maintaining a consistent pace towards the end can yield further improvements in future races. Great effort maintaining positions in the final stages.
