Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Jesus Mendoza completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon in 3:41:20, achieving an average pace of 8:26 min/mile. Out of 1,879 participants, he ranked 376th overall, 288th among males, and 51st in his M35-39 division. Mendoza demonstrated a stable race approach, which is reflected in his consistent pacing throughout various stages of the marathon. Mendoza started the race with an initial mile time of 8:10, then found his stride with several sub-8:00 miles, peaking at 7:06 during the second mile. Although some later miles extended beyond 9 minutes, including a challenging stretch nearing 10:35, he maintained focus. A commendable effort was noted during the final mile, with Mendoza managing to complete it in 9:38.
