Consistency with Late Challenges Observed Maureen Bauto maintained notable consistency during the first half of her half marathon, displaying a commendable level of endurance with early splits ranging from 9:51 to 10:06 min/mile. Her best effort was seen at the 3-mile mark with a split pace of 9:29 min/mile, showcasing potential for improvement within this pace range. She gained significant ground between mile 4 and 6, improving her position in the F30-34 division from 86th to 59th. In later stages of the race, Maureen experienced a slower pace, with a peak split at mile 11 of 12:52 min/mile. Her final time of 2:22:04 and an average pace of 10:50 min/mile placed her 86th in her division. Working on speed endurance could help maintain steadiness in the latter part of races. Overall, transitioning her early race performance into the latter stretches seems key for future improvements.
