Consistent Pacing Across Half Marathon Owen Blevins completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon with a final time of 2:41:53. Starting strong, Owen achieved his first mile with a pace of 9:24 min/mile, which was his fastest split. His pacing experienced slight fluctuations but remained relatively steady throughout the race. His average pace was 12:21 min/mile, with minor challenges manifesting in mile 7, where the split was 14:28. Despite this, Owen was able to slightly improve his pace in the final miles. Owen placed 1335th overall out of 1772 participants and 63rd in his division (M19-24). Noteworthy, Owen demonstrated resilience by improving his place gender-wise from 720 in mile 10 to 706 by mile 11. There was a decline in pace from miles 8 to 10, which might be addressed by focusing on maintaining momentum in the latter half of the race. Building endurance and fine-tuning race strategy could further enhance future performance.
