Consistent Start with Opportunities for Future Gains Guiselle Retana maintained a steady pace during the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 4:57:00 and an average pace of 11:20 min/mile. Her strongest performance was observed early in the race, hitting a pace of 9:27 min/mile at miles 8 and 9. She displayed notable consistency in her splits, with times ranging between 9:01 and 11:20 min/mile throughout different stages. While she held a robust position of 18th in her F55-59 division for several splits, there was a marked increase in elapsed time from mile 17 onwards. Specifically, her slowest split was at mile 24 with a 16:25 min/mile pace. To enhance future performance, consideration could be given to endurance strategies for the latter portion of the race. Despite the challenges in pace, Guiselle finished 411th among female participants, providing a strong foundation for improved future results.
