Significant Pace Improvement in Las Vegas Christine completed the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon's 7.02-mile race in a time of 1:24:10, achieving an overall pace of 11:59 min/mile. Starting strong, she clocked the first mile at 11:43 min/mile, showcasing her endurance from the outset. Maintaining a consistent effort, Christine's fastest mile was the last at 10:45 min/mile, which marked a significant improvement in pace. Comparing this years performance to her previous attempt, Christine shaved off a remarkable 15:08 from her overall time at the 2024 event. Her improvement allowed her to jump 376 places in the overall standings and 321 in her gender category. Achieving a 23-place gain in her F35-39 division is a testament to her training efforts. Continuation of these pacing strategies with focus on maintaining and perhaps accelerating this closing speed in future races could yield even better results. Great progress, Christine!
