Consistent Pacing and Strong Division Finish Toshie Bertsch performed admirably at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon, maintaining an average pace of 8:45 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course and completing the race in 3:49:31. Her pacing was consistent, with the majority of her splits ranging from 8:36 to 9:01 min/mile. Notable improvements occurred mid-race, including her fastest miles at the 6th and 10th splits, both at an 8:11 min/mile pace. This consistency helped her secure a third-place finish in her F60-64 division. Overall, Toshie placed 469th out of 1,879 participants, and within her gender category, she finished 113th out of 630 female runners. Her progress during the race was evident as she improved her standings, particularly noticeable from mile 12 to the finish where her placement consistently climbed.
