Consistent Effort Leads to Improved Performance Archie Brown displayed a commendable improvement in performance at the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon half marathon race. Compared to his previous years result at the same event, he shaved off over seven minutes, finishing in 2:00:36 with an average pace of 9:12 min/mile, a significant improvement from his previous average of 9:45 min/mile. Throughout the first half, Archie maintained mostly consistent splits, starting with a pace of 7:51 which showed his strong start. However, the splits gradually increased, peaking at 10:31 min/mile between miles 10 and 11. In terms of placement, Archie shows more consistency within the age division M30-34 compared to last year, despite the fluctuations in pace, maintaining a mid-range position among a competitive field. He achieved his strongest positioning early in the race, placing 73rd in his division after one mile, and finished 105th in M30-34 out of 1772 participants. Staying focused on maintaining an even pace across the later stages of the race may further enhance his performance.
