Consistent Pace Throughout the Half Marathon Donna Thiele showed remarkable consistency and endurance in the 2025 Las Vegas Marathon Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:19:04. She maintained an average pace of 10:36 min/mile across the 13.1-mile course. Starting strong with a 9:03 min/mile pace in the first mile, she saw slight fluctuations in her pace, the slowest being during miles 10 and 11, where her pace reached 11:29 min/mile and 13:03 min/mile, respectively. Despite facing challenges in the middle portion of the race, particularly at mile 5 and mile 11 with split paces over 11 minutes per mile, Donna made a strong comeback, improving her position in the later miles. Notably, she finished 16th in her division, a commendable achievement given the competition among 1772 participants. A review of her pacing strategy could help maintain stronger pacing in the middle miles of her next race. Overall, a solid performance as part of the Lifetime Runners team.
