Consistent Early Pace, Challenging Finish Miguel Garcia started the Las Vegas Marathon steadily, maintaining a relatively consistent pace through the initial miles. His second mile was clocked at 8:20 min/mile, his fastest early mile, followed by a series of consistent paces just above 8:30 min/mile. Notably, his performance in the middle miles showed improvement, achieving a striking 7:09 min/mile at mile 16, suggesting strong mid-race strength. As the race progressed, Miguel's pace faced challenges during the final miles, the last segment being completed in 12:28 min/mile, affecting his overall pace to finish at 9:17 min/mile.
